The right flange, the right lock, every time

SureSight verifies work and inspections at the point of work in refineries, chemical plants, terminals and pipelines. Workers wear camera-equipped eyewear, and computer vision confirms each step of the permit or procedure as it's done.

Anything it can't confirm is flagged before the job moves on.

The problemThe permit is on paper. The hazard is at the flange.

Right permit, wrong flange

A permit can name the right equipment, and a crew can still open the one next to it. Nothing at the point of work checks the permit against the equipment in front of the worker.

Isolation you can't see from the control room

Lockout and tagout depend on the right valves being closed, the right locks applied, and the isolation verified. The permit records that it was done. It doesn't show it.

Findings that wait

Inspections find problems. Between the finding and the repair, equipment often stays in service, and the interim checks that are supposed to happen are the easiest to let slip.

Regulations & standardsThe rules your integrity program already follows

Process safety, inspection codes and pipeline rules all ask for the same thing: evidence that the inspection or the isolation actually happened. These are the ones most often cited in the US.

SureSight produces evidence that inspections and maintenance steps were done, which is what these programs ask you to show. It doesn't replace your inspection program, your qualified staff, or your regulator.

ApplicationsWhat SureSight verifies at the point of work

Each application is set up from your permits, isolation procedures and inspection plans, and trained on your units.

Industrial pipes, flanges and machinery inside a facility

Line breaks against the permit

Flanges, blinds and line breaks, checked against the equipment named on the permit.

Confirms
The equipment tag in view matches the permit before work starts.
Flags
A mismatch, so the job stops before the line is opened.
A main electrical switch locked out with a padlock and a warning tag

Lockout and tagout

Valves, breakers, locks and tags on the isolation list.

Confirms
Each isolation point on the list was viewed locked and tagged.
Flags
Points with no evidence of a lock or tag.
White storage tanks with access stairs against a blue sky

Tank and vessel walk-downs

Routine external walk-downs of tanks, vessels and piping.

Confirms
Each item on the walk-down route was viewed.
Flags
Visible leaks or damage, for a qualified inspector to assess.
A pipeline marker sign in a lavender field

Pipeline patrols

Right-of-way patrols along pipelines and the ground around them.

Confirms
The patrol covered the route, with a time-stamped record.
Flags
Visible ground disturbance, encroachment or exposed pipe, for follow-up.

How it fitsIt fits your permits, your units and your contractors

Your data, your rules. Where SureSight runs, what it keeps, and who can see it are set for each deployment. It can run entirely on a server inside your network, with no video kept after verification. Storage is optional and follows your retention policy. SureSight verifies the work, not the worker: identity isn't needed to verify an inspection. Security & Data →

FAQQuestions operations and integrity teams ask

Can the eyewear be used in classified areas?

Only with hardware rated for the area's classification. Which areas a pilot covers, and which devices are used there, is decided during scoping.

Does it replace our permit-to-work system?

No. It works alongside it, adding evidence at the point of work that the permit was followed.

Does it cover contractor crews?

Yes. Contractor crews work to the same permit, and their work is recorded the same way. That's often where verification matters most.

Does it detect corrosion or cracks?

SureSight confirms that inspection steps were done, and it can flag visible anomalies for a qualified inspector. It doesn't replace nondestructive testing or an inspector's assessment.

Does any data leave the site?

Only if you choose. SureSight can run on a server inside your network, with no video kept after verification. See Security & Data.
